Earth Day is here and what better way to spend it than it with Muppets?
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has two great family-friendly DVDs to check out from the Jim Henson company: The Song of the Cloud Forest and Other Earth Stories and The Animal Show with Stinky and Jake: Lions, Tigers, & Bears.
Jim Henson brings to you some great Earth Day stories, along with lively music and a combination of puppets and animation. It includes a Fraggle Rock episode (“The River of Life”), “The Song of the Cloud Forest ” which originally aired as part of The Jim Henson Hour in 1989, Stinky and Jake and others Muppets as they take you on a journey through the rain forest. Plus your children can learn something about Earth Day along with lessons on endangered animals, the survival of the rain forest and the diverse abundance of life on our planet.
Though these DVDs are geared towards children, your never too old to reminisce with your favorite Muppets characters. The DVDs are available now for about $12.98 each.
