If you love Left 4 Dead, or really zombies of any kind, and have a spare $50 lying around, then you need to head to The Valve Store. Seriously, I’m not kidding. See, Valve is now selling Boomer, the first of five “Infected” stuffed toys based on monsters from the Windows and Xbox 360 game Left 4 Dead 2.
Boomer, like all of the five Left 4 Dead plushies comes with quite a pedigree. Alexandria Neonakis, designer of Valve’s Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 greeting cards, created the designs for all of the stuffed toys. (She’s also created video game Valentine’s.) So you’re getting a stylish and unique little individual if you buy him. Okay, he’s not so little – he’s actually a pretty big boy at 13 inches tall and almost 13 inches wide.
This little Boomer has quite a personality too. If you pop three AA batteries into him and press his hand, he’ll talk to you. Well, not so much talk as grunt, wheeze, burb and moan. Valve has taken Boomer sound effects from Left 4 Dead 2 and made the plush Boomer sound just like the in-game Boomers.
The other four plush toys in the Left 4 Dead 2 plush series haven’t been revealed yet. If you’re interested in a full set, keep checking The Valve Store – and keep saving money! The other four will probably each cost $49.99, just like little Boomer.

I thought the Boomer guys exploded. Isn't that what those fat zombies did in that Left 4 Dead game Mario lent you?
well first they barf on you (covering your screen so you can't see the hoards of Zombies he sends out), and if you don't destroy it fast enough it explodes causing damage AND a blocked screen!
