This may be the best DS deal all week. Amazon and Walmart online is selling The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for a mere $18. The price at other retailers is still listed as $34.99. Do you really need a better excuse to buy this game? Maybe I should just assume you just don’t like saving $16 on a top notch DS game.
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks has a similar play style to that of Phantom Hourglass. Link is controlled entirely from the status. Everything from movement to attacks are done with near perfect accuracy with the stylus. In this game Link is accompanied by the spirit of Zelda as the two of them try to stop the bad guy Cole from resurrecting The Demon King using Zelda’s body.
This is a great gift for anyone with a gaming mom. Mother’s Day is tomorrow (May 9, 2010) and time is running out to buy gifts. Sure she’ll receive a belated Mother Day’s gift but that’s only because Nintendo hasn’t started offering full game downloads for DS titles yet. In the end your mother’s anger is Nintendo’s fault, not yours.
