If you look closely you’ll realize the new Sands of Time art is not original. It’s a near carbon copy of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands box art. The only difference is the color of the subtitles. A person booting up Sands of Time under this box art will get a totally different experience than what the box suggests. The color palettes couldn’t be more different from each other. The prince on the box looks nothing like the character you play as. It’s almost false advertising on Ubisoft’s part.
Make sure you give a heads up to anyone going out to purchase The Forgotten Sands. Please realize it was not released on the PS2 and it’s very easy for an inexperienced game buyer to make this mistake. I can’t think of a time where the same box art was used in two totally different games. I wish this is all just an elaborate hoax, but it’s very real.
