Valhalla Game StudiosIt is official – Valhalla Game Studios will reveal its first game project at E3 2010. There’s no way it could be a rumor, since Valhalla’s own Tomonobu Itagaki, of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive fame, said it himself. Itagaki made the announcement today (June 8, 2010) at the Valhalla Game Studios site.

Itagaki’s E3 2010 announcement is the first confirmed news provided about Valhalla’s first game. He goes on to call it an “all-new project” and also discusses how his, and Valhalla’s, goal is to make something entertaining for players. Also interesting is the fact that Itagaki’s statement ends with his request that people let Valhalla know what they think about the studio’s first game after it has been announced and revealed. You don’t game developers making that request very often!

The only thing we do know for sure about Valhalla Game Studios’ first project is that it is most likely an Xbox 360 game. As Go Fanboy reported, Itagaki is supposedly making an exclusive appearance at the Microsoft E3 2010 press presentation. I guess if you want to be among the first to hear about the new game, you’ll have to attend that conference or find a live feed. Valhalla Game Studio’s first game will be Itagaki’s first since he left Tecmo and Team Ninja in 2008.
