Get 30% off OnLive games this holiday weekend

If you’re a founding member of OnLive, you should check you email. Onlive is holding a special sale for all its founding members this 4th of July weekend. Starting tomorrow, (July 2, 2010) at 9am EDT and ending Monday (July 5, 2010) at 11:59pm EDT, all PlayPasses will be 30% off its original price.

There are different types of PlayPasses. The full PlayPass allows you to purchase a game and play it for as long as it remains on OnLive’s servers. Most games will last until 2013 at the earliest. There are also PlayPasses that let you rent games for three or five days at a time. This offer is only valid for Founding Members only. An email containing a promotional code should be in your inbox as you read this. The 30% off code can be redeemed as many times as you want.

OnLive has also added a couple sports game to its library. NBA 2K10 and MLB 2K10 are now available to play instantly. OnLive also released LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 on last Tuesday at midnight. Originally priced at $29.99, LEGO Harry Potter can now be purchased for around $21 after using the discount.
