Google Android Creating videogames has traditionally been a highly complicated process. If you wanted to make a game from scratch, you needed to learn code and other programming essentials. Not anymore. Google wants everyone to have the ability to make a game or application without knowing anything about coding. The company has released App Inventor for Android that uses a different interface to make applications.

App Inventor switches out lines of code for blocks. It gives you the option of using blocks to take advantage of features such as the accelerometer in phones as well as Twitter integration. There are seemingly no limits to what a normal person can do in App Inventor. Google gave examples of possible applications. For example, lets say you’re meeting family or friends in a brand new city. You can make an app that sends your location to select users. They’ll be presented with a GPS route that leads them to where you are.

Google is encouraging users to take advantage of Android’s open platform. With Android adaptation higher than ever, users have a fantastic way of customizing their phones unlike any other platform.
