Free Realms lifetime membership $29.99 till August 2

Sony Online Entertainment’s got a great deal planned for Free Realms players. Starting at 12pm PST today (July 16, 2010), you get pay a one time fee of $29.99 to get a lifetime membership to the MMO. Anyone can take advantage of this deal, even current subscribers. The catch is you must purchase a lifetime membership before August 2, 2010 if you want one. That’s when the promotion ends.

This is a fantastic deal, if you play the game. Normally a 12 month subscription would cost you around $39.50. So, for less money you can get a members subscription to Free Realms that will last as long as Sony keeps the game online. And if you were paying month to month, which costs $4.99, you’d be spending even more.

Members get a lot of extras for subscribing to Free Realms. I mean, you can easily play for free and stay entertained for months. But members get access to a lot of other stuff. They get more coins, discounts at the shops, a house in the Small Wilds area (just like the one in the screenshot above), access to every job, a reward pack each month and the exclusive ability to buy and use certain items.

Wow, that brings back memories. I think it’s probably been almost a year since I last played Free Realms. I got so caught up other games, I practically forgot all about it!
