Vampire invade The Sims 3 Late Night

The Sims 3 Ambitions is so last month. It’s all about The Sims 3 Late Night now. EA’s just announced that there’ll be another new expansion pack for the Windows and Mac game out this year, hopefully before Fall 2010 ends. Big surprise.

The Sims 3 Late Night expansion will be all about club hopping, embracing the night-life with a nocturnal job and vampirism. Hm, sounds a lot like another Sims series expansion called, what was it again oh right The Sims 2: Nightlife. Really, it’s best to just think of it as that. It’s a revamped and more expensive version of Nightlife.

Okay, Late Night will have a few things Nightlife didn’t. Like your characters might now be denied admission to clubs and will be able to access new jobs like celebrity, band member or bartender. Of course, other Sims 3 expansions and games already had actor and musician careers, so I guess the forthcoming celebrity and band member jobs aren’t really worth getting excited over.

Judging by the screenshot above, it looks like vampires won’t be the only night stalkers in The Sims 3 Late Night. Those paparazzi look pretty fiendish too.
