LittleBigPlanet 2 is one step closer to completion. SCEA announced today (July 23, 2010) that LBP 2 will be in stores on November 16, 2010. As with most games these days, LBP 2 will also be getting a special collector’s edition. We’re going to take this time to let you know everything that’s in the collector’s edition, as well as the various pre-order incentives being offered by retailers.
First, the collector’s edition will be in limited supply in the United States. It will be released along with the the single copy of LBP 2 for $79.99. Inside the collector’s edition you’ll get a nice amount of additional content. The full list is below.

LBP 2 will also have pre-order incentives from various retailers. So far Sony has announced partnerships with Amazon, Best Buy and Gamestop. There will be more pre-order offers in the future including one that features Gonzo from Muppet Babies. Some of the older gamers know exactly who Gonzo is.
