FarmVille and Green Giant promotion ends August 1, 2010

There’s a good way to mix your virtual life with your real life now. But you have to hurry, since it’s almost over. See, Green Giant and FarmVille have teamed up. Yes, the same FarmVille that also partnered with 7-Eleven. This time, it’s for Farm Cash.

If you purchase Green Giant veggies which have a FarmVille promotional sticker on there, you’ll get a code. You can then take said code to the Green Giant website and redeem it for FarmVille Farm Cash you can use to buy stuff in-game. And not just general FarmVille cash – the kind you’d normally have to buy with real money.

The stickers show up on 25 Green Giant grocery items, and these items will not be shipped with FarmVille stickers after August 1, 2010. The codes themselves can be redeemed until September 25, 2010.

If you want to take advantage of this promotion before it ends, then before you go grocery shopping you should check the Green Giant website. There’s a store finder there which will help you see if one of the 4,000 stores with Green Giant Farmville produce is near you. While the promotion only started in select Target stores, the site states that Aldi, Wal-Mart, United Supermarkets and a few other stores are now also carrying the special products.
