FIFA Street-like minigame available in Wii version of FIFA 11

Soccer fans who opt for the Wii version of FIFA 11 are also getting a street soccer minigame.

In this game you will use the world’s best players in extreme-style games that allow wall jumping and other tricks. If this sounds familiar, you are probably remembering the FIFA Street series. It was part of EA’s series of arcade sports titles that included NFL and NBA incarnations as well.

EA included a similar mini-game in its Wii versions of Madden NFL that evolved into downloadable game Madden Arcade.

Street soccer mode includes other arcade game moves such as shrinking nets and wall shots.. You can also enable a power meter that gives your players moves including electric shockwaves. If absolutely none of this interests you, FIFA 11 will also be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation and PC October 4, 2010.
