Farmville update grants one-click harvesting

There has been a big ol’ FarmVille update giving the sim a whole host of new upgrades.

Buildings including the Chicken Coop can be now be harvested with a single click, similar to other animals. The update also brought new prizes for Mystery Games and limited edition New England-themed items. There is a change in the FarmVille market, as Goji Berry seeds have been moved to the area with other fruits. Also, more farmers can now access the Crafting Building feature.

Not everybody is happy with the changes as the single-click harvesting on stables takes away choices in terms of which horses you want to breed.

FarmVille and other social games are in a period of transition. March 2010 Facebook stopped allowing games to send notifications through Facebook accounts. FarmVille isn’t going to be avoided that easily, though. It has an iPhone app and even its own ice cream.
