StarCraft II soundtrack is on iTunes

Now you can enjoy the music of StarCraft II without leaving the game paused on every stage. The official soundtrack is now available on iTunes for $9.99. The 14 tracks on the album will give you over one hour of music. You can also buy each track individually for $0.99 each. Make sure you have iTunes version 9 or higher otherwise you won’t be able to partake in the soundtracks glory.

I don’t own StarCraft II. I don’t even have a PC capable of running StarCraft II at its recommended system specifications. However I have been watching other gamers stream the game online since it was released. The one thing that stood out most to me was the music. I remember tuning in to one stage and wondering if the person playing was using his own music in the game. It turns out I was listening to the actual music in StarCraft II. If you are as ignorant of StarCraft as I am, trust me when I say the soundtrack contains some of the best videogame music you will hear this year. I hear there’s some blips from the original StarCraft scattered throughout the songs too.
