Fable 3 villager

Fable III has a neat surprise in store for pre-orders. If you ever wanted to designe a videogame character, Lionhead Studios is giving you the chance. Fable III has a new website available that lets you create your own villager. Those who pre-order Fable III will get a code that can be used on the villager creator site. This code saves your villager to your Xbox Live account and can later be transported into Fable III. You can still tinker around with the villager creator if you haven’t pre-ordered, but you won’t be able to import the character to your game.

The customization options aren’t very robust, but you get to choose from an assortment of hats and clothing for your character. The basics include naming your villager and giving them a gender. Your actions go beyond just simple looks though. You’re also asked to answer a few questions to judge your villager’s personality. You will eventually run into your creation in Fable III and they will give you a quest. The choices you make can change the tone of the quest to suit a good or evil perspective. You’re still allowed to adhere to your playable characters morality regardless of what the quest entails.

After the quest ends, you treat your villager like any other Fable III non-playable character. You can be friends, get married or even murder them in cold blood.
