Adol returns in Ys 7 on August 17

It’s time to dust off your PSP. I know there haven’t been too many games released recently, but that’s about to change thanks to XSEED. Ys 7 comes out this month, and sooner than you’d expect. August 17, 2010 is the street date for both the standard and collector’s editions.
Ys 7 is the newest entry in the series and is a PSP exclusive. It’s also the first with multiple, controllable party members. It’ll be available in regular stores and the PlayStation Store after it’s debut, though the PlayStation Store version will be the $29.99 standard edition. If you get a UMD copy, you can get the $29.99 game-only version, or the $49.99 collector’s edition which includes an artbook, CD and cloth map of the Ys 7 world.
Ys 7 is only the start, and ushers in an era of PSP gaming goodness in North America. After it’s released, Valkyria Chronicles II, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, Phantasy Star Portable 2, Blazing Souls: Accelate, Knights in the Nightmare, Patapon 3 and God of War: Ghost of Sparta all follow behind it.
