Sonic and Knuckles get their own R/C cars

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing has inspired it’s own line of radio controlled racers. Yes, you can now buy the game and toys so you can race all the time with your favorite characters. Well, provided you have the $24.99 necessary to buy one of the toys.

So far, only two varieties have been shown. One is Sonic in a Speed Star car and one is Knuckles in a Land Breaker ATV. Both have headlights and can go about 7mph. NKOK is also planning on releasing a slot car race set, based on images at the official website. You have to wait until the end of August, 2010 though, before you can find any of these items at Toys ‘R Us and Sears and stage your own races.

I say you get a couple of those Spin Master Mario Kart and NKOK Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing R/C cars and create some kind of dream derby. See who’s really the fastest. Maybe toss in one of NKOK’s Halo Reach R/C Warthogs to spice things up.
