Vanquish will be making an appearance on PS3s and Xbox 360s around the world next week. Every region will be getting the Vanquish Velocity Attack demo. North Americans get it first on August 31, 2010. Then Europeans get access to it on September 1, 2010. Finally, everyone in Japan and Australia will be able to download it on September 2, 2010.

The Velocity Attack Vanquish demo is designed to give players a feel for the full game. You’ll be able to choose a casual or normal difficulty level, then help US agent Sam fight robots and a boss on a space station. You’re supposed to be helping to save energy resources for the US, but I’m sure all you’ll be thinking about while playing is gunning down robots. Sam wears an ARS battle suit, and will be able to use all kinds of weapons, special ARS abilities and Walkers to fight anything that moves. You’ll also get to fight a boss named Argus at the end of the demo.

Similarly, Platinum Games and Sega’s Vanquish will also have nearly simultaneous worldwide release dates. Once again, it debuts first in North America on October 19, 2010. Then in both Australia and Japan on October 21, 2010. Europe gets it last on October 22, 2010. So everyone gets almost two months after playing the demo to decide whether or not they’d actually want to buy the game.
