Sega’s heading to the Penny Arcade Expo being held September 3-5, 2010, and has plenty of plans for the event. And these aren’t just plans for the actual convention, there are plans for fun outside the confines of Seattle’s Washington State Convention and Trade Center.
If you happen to be in the area on September 4, 2010, Sega’s going to have a Community Event at the Sega Gameworks Arcade at 1511 7th Avenue. If you hurry and get there right when the party starts at 8pm, you’ll be guaranteed entrance to an affair with free food, swag, arcade games to play and music. You don’t have to have a PAX pass to get into Sega’s Community Event, but you will want to get there early so you can actually get inside. You can get more information at Sega’s Penny Arcade Expo Community Event Facebook page.
Everyone who got PAX 2010 passes and will be attending the show can find Sega at booth 3625. Of course, at these kind of events no one really pays attention to booth numbers. Just look for giant Sonic statues! Sega’s bringing Conduit 2 (Wii), Phantasy Star Portable 2 (PSP), Shogun 2: Total War (Windows PC), Sonic 4 (PS3, Xbox 360), Sonic Colors (DS, Wii), Valkyria Chronicles 2 (PSP), Vanquish (PS3, Xbox 360) and Yakuza 4 (PS3). Shogun 2 won’t be playable though – Sega representatives will be showing attendees how it looks and works. But look at the bright side, you’ll have seven other games to play.
