13 tracks from the Shank soundtrack is now available on The Shank Blog. All the songs take up about 44mb of hard drive space. You can look forward to 33 minutes of electric guitar riffs combined with epic orchestral strings. Each song has to be downloaded individually, so I’m afraid you’ll have to create a folder and save all the files in that location. The process is worth it because Shank has some really good music backing it up. Shank’s music is provided by Vince de Vera and Jason Garner.
Klei has been promoting Shank through social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. The developer is currently posting ways to unlock alternate costumes for Shank through its Twitter account. Shank will have access to 11 costumes in all. Some of these outfits are named Shank the Spartan, Wildman Shank and the ANY-S costume.
Shank will be available on the PlayStation Network starting tomorrow (August 24, 2010) for $15. It will release on XBLA on Wednesday (August 25, 2010) for 1200 Microsoft Points. A PC release is scheduled to be released this Fall.
Update: Due to popular demand, Klei Entertainment has bundled all the songs into a zip file.
