You won’t just get the game though. That would be a bit of a rip-off, since Hello Kitty Online is a free-to-play MMO. You also get a few premium extras. You get $15 worth of Sanrio Cash Points to use in the in-game cash shop, one of four in-game pets, post cards and an 82 page instruction manual. Okay, the manual isn’t exciting, but the rest is pretty nice.
Hello Kitty Online is an MMO with lots of Sanrio characters in it, like Hello Kitty and My Melody. You socialize with other players, do fun little quests, manage a farm and such. It’s all very cute, colorful and pastel.
And if you’re curious, yes, I’m going to buy it. Not now, but eventually. I figure this could be $9.99 by Christmas. If it turns out one of the pets you can choose from is Charmmy Kitty, I’ll even pay full price.
