Morrigan Witch Hunt

You didn’t really think that you’d see the last of Morrigan in Dragon Age: Origins? Nope! BioWare just announced their upcoming DLC called Witch Hunt. It’ll be available on September 7, 2010.

The DLC will cost $7, which equals to 560 BioWare Points on the PC or 560 MS Points for Xbox 360 players. PS3 owners save a whole penny, paying $6.99 for their version.

The story takes place about a year later, as rumors swirl that the antisocial witch has returned to Ferelden. Considering that she was supposed to never be seen from again, this is an interesting predicament.

You can use your current character to continue the story, or start fresh with a new, high level character.

It’s cool that we’re getting DLC for each companion character. First Leiliana, now Morrigan. I’m still waiting for my Sten DLC. Okay, I’m not. Actually, I’d love to have an Alistair DLC next! RAWR.

For a $7 download though, Witch Hunt better be good. It is two hours long, but is that enough material to conclude Morrigan’s story? I still doubt that this is the last we’ll see of her. After all, we know that her mom Flemeth will be in Dragon Age 2 in some form or another, if you catch my drift.
