DeathSpank makes a guest appearance in Shank

We hope you’re getting some mileage out of our unlockable costume guide for Shank. There’s still a few more costumes to be revealed before the list will be complete. Klei revealed what is perhaps the most baffling alternative Shank costume earlier today (August 25, 2010). Everyone’s favorite dispenser of justice, otherwise known as DeathSpank, is playable in Shank. To be more precise, DeathSpank’s costume can be worn by Shank.
Klei Entertainment and Hothead Games are teaming up in true indie fashion by paying homage to each other games. DeathSpank’s costume is in Shank and Shank’s famous chainsaw will be in DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue. Thongs of Virtue is the surprisingly sudden sequel to DeathSpank that will be released on the PlayStation Network in September. Electronic Arts published both DeathSpank and Shank, so that may have something to do with the cross references each game contains.
Klei hasn’t revealed how to unlock DeathSpank’s costume yet. If you haven’t given Shank a try, a demo is available on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.
