Those who are weak at heart can spend Halloween this year in front of their Wiis, playing the bright, colorful and not-in-any-way scary Deca Sports 3. Hudson’s just announced that it’ll be in stores October 26, 2010, giving people who’d rather not watch the latest demonic horror movie or traverse incredibly creepy locations fraught with peril another entertainment option.
The Deca Sports series is a lot like Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, only with more sports available when you factor in the fact that there are three entries in the series and each one has about 10 events. It does also have customizable avatars, but doesn’t use Miis. Deca Sports 3 is family friendly, has familiar controls, allows you to edit characters with a Team Editor, offers online multiplayer and MotionPlus support.

So this Halloween, while your friends are out possibly being cursed because they trespassed on a house that was built over an ancient, abandoned, pet cemetery, you can be safe at home sword-fighting against virtual opponents. All it will require is a $29.99 investment and a trip to your local game store.
