The Complete Edition contains not just vanilla Civ IV, but also its two expansions Warlords and Beyond the Sword. It even comes with Colonization. When you think about it, that’s getting four games for $9.99, which is insane.
Civilization V comes out on September 21, 2010 so playing the previous game and its expansions is a great way to keep you busy until it comes out. Also, British actor Morgan Sheppard is replacing Leonard Nimoy as narrator in Civilization V. Because everyone knows that narrations sound way cooler when done with an English accent. Therefore, Civ IV is your last chance to hear Spock imitate Sputnik*.
