Joe Danger fans out there got a pretty big surprise yesterday (August 25, 2010). In addition to releasing a demo as a part of this week’s PlayStation Store update, Hello Games implemented the People’s Patch into Joe Danger. This patch includes a whole mess a features based on community feedback.
Receiving the patch requires you to do nothing but start up Joe Danger. Among the biggest new features are YouTube support and level sharing. You can now save some of your best stunts and either save them or upload them to YouTube in HD for everyone to see. Hello Games also threw in a brand new level for Joe Danger free of charge. Hello Games is currently working on more levels for Joe Danger.
Joe Danger has been described as a cross between Excitebike and Trials HD. Each level has a certain number of goals to complete which are rewarded with stars. You use those stars to unlock more levels. Physics play a big role in Joe Danger as you must find the correct balance in addition to pulling off big tricks to get more points. It’s a pretty fun game for its $15 price tag.
The entire list of new features from the People’s Patch is listed below.
