Isaac, Garet, Ivan, Mia, Felix, Jenna, Sheba and Piers supposedly saved Weyard in the GBA games Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age, but obviously peace wasn’t a permanent thing. 30 years have passed since then, and things are still a bit unsettled. Matthew, Karis and Terrell start their adventure looking for a friend who’s suddenly missing, but end up starting off on a quest to once again protect and save Weyard. They’ll have to solve puzzles using alchemy, collect Djinns to help them battle and save the day.
Amazon‘s already got a product page up for Golden Sun: Dark Dawn that says it’ll cost $39.99. So start saving up! Or, you could always put it on your holiday wish-list. It will be out just in time for Christmas 2010. While you’re waiting, I suggest stopping by your local used game store to hunt down copies of Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. They’re great games, will help you understand better how the Golden Sun universe works and shouldn’t be too expensive.
