Tron Evolution Collectors edition

So, you weren’t able to get your hands on one of the real-life Tron life cycles being sold on eBay a few months ago. No worries, because you can still get a sweet little model if you buy the collector’s edition of TRON: Evolution. Get ready to be $130 poorer though.

The collector’s edition of TRON: Evolution comes with the life cycle replica, a display case, and a drawer for the game. Considering that the regular edition of TRON: Evolution costs about $60, you should really ask yourself if the life cycle model, display case, and drawer are worth $70.

Would it help if I mentioned that that the life cycle glows? How about that it’s made by Sideshow Collectibles, a company that creates and sells models that can cost as much as several hundreds of dollars? Suddenly, $70 isn’t looking so bad. Still, it’s a steep price to pay for something that’ll just sit on your shelf or desk, though it’ll look really cool…and glowy.

TRON: Evolution is scheduled for release on December 7, 2010 and will be available for the Wii, PS3, PSP, and Xbox 360. The collectors edition will only be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
