Amazon’s August 31, 2010 Gold Box is filled with Wii goodness

It’s a very Wii-tastic day at Amazon today. The Gold Box is always filled each day with all kinds of different deals, which appear for limited times throughout the day until stock runs out. Today, it’s all Wii related.

Well, almost all Wii related. The Deal of the Day is the Tony Hawk: Ride skateboard bundle that includes the game and the controller. And it isn’t just the Wii version that’s on sale. The Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of that game are knocked down to $39.99 today only. Normally, it costs $69.99.

Only one deal has been revealed so far, and that was Gold’s Gym Dance Workout. It went on sale at 6am PDT for $19.99, and sold out. The normal price is $29.99.

Let’s look at the hints for the upcoming deals! I’ll leave a guess as to what it could be as well.

• 9am PDT: Hint: “Walk This Way” – I’m guessing it’s some form of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
• 12pm PDT: Hint: “No toy gets left behind” – It has to be Toy Story 3 The Video Game.
• 1pm PDT: Hint: “15 ways to have fun on your Wii.” – Some variation of Wii Fit. I’m guessing Wii Fit Plus
• 3pm PDT: Hint: “Bring the Broadway musical experience right into your living room.” – Dance on Broadway
• 4pm PDT: Hint: “The Wii on 480p.” – Probably Wii component video cables.
• 6pm PDT: Hint: “Enjoy this massive fantasy epic.” – I’m a little unsure, but since it says fantasy I’m going to guess Arc Rise Fantasia.
• 8pm PDT: Hint: “Transform your Wii controller into sports equipment” – It’s one of those Wii sports peripheral packs where you shove the Wii remote into shaped plastic forms.
