Telltale is a busy studio these days. Sam and Max is still running strong, a big crossover is expected to be revealed tomorrow (September 2, 2010) and a Back to the Future episodic game is in development. Telltale once released a survey asking fans to help determine the direction Back to the Future would take. We hope Telltale took that advice to heart as it reveals the first details on the upcoming Back to the Future game.
According to USA Today, Back to the Future will star Marty McFly and Doc Brown. Christopher Lloyd is attached to provide the voice of Doc Brown. Lloyd’s involvement effectively adds a big dose of authenticity to the game. Steven Spielberg is also an executive producer in Telltale’s project. Bob Gale, another series veteran who penned the Back to the Future trilogy, is assisting in game’s plot. Back to the Future is expected to span five separate episodes.
Telltale isn’t giving up much as far as plot is concerned. We know part of the game will take place in Hill Valley during 1985 and will include the DeLorean. More characters from the films will be in the game as well. If Biff doesn’t make an appearance I’ll probably cry. Telltale knows better than to leave out the Tannen family. Telltale may bring Back to the Future to PAX this weekend. Cross your fingers for that one folks.

Telltale tweeted a few days ago that they'll be bringing the DeLorean to PAX. Sweeeeeeeet!
