Project MyWorld We’ve been following the trials and tribulations of Realtime Worlds for a few weeks. After the company entered administration, most of the staff were laid off. A few employees were brought back to continue working on Project: MyWorld. While the whole of Realtime Worlds is still up in the air, Project: MyWorld has been saved.

Develop reports Project: MyWorld was acquired by an unnamed United States company. At this time, it is unknown what the new owners are planning to do with the game or its developers. Since the buyers are based in the United States, there is a chance that the Realtime Worlds studio based in Boulder, Colorado will play a future role in the company’s plans.

Shockingly enough, Project: MyWorld was attracting more attention from buyers than All Points Bulletin. The interest in so significant, joint administrator Ken Pattullo believes Project: MyWorld has the potential to go into business for itself.APB was released with more than its fair share of problems. To take that game on means regaining the commitment of the existing community in addition to attracting new subscribers. Given the fact that APB has already left a sour taste in a lot of gamers mouths, it may a too big of a risk to take.
