Get ready for more Uncharted 2 content. Earlier today (September 6, 2010) Emily Rose, who does the voice work for Elena in the Uncharted series, tweeted she was working on something to do with Uncharted. We wondered if she was working on the inevitable Uncharted 3 or an animated film. No such luck there, but at least we know Naughty Dog isn’t done with Uncharted 2.
Sony confirmed to Kotaku the content Rose was speaking of is in fact downloadable content for Uncharted 2.
The official statement:
So far the only DLC for Uncharted 2 has been multiplayer content. Since Naughty Dog is bringing voice actors into the studio, I hope this new content is heavy on dialogue. At this point we can’t rule out new cooperative missions, but at the same time, they could just be dropping a few one-liners for competitive multiplayer.
That fact that more DLC is planned is the only information that’s available to us right now. I’m sure Sony will get around to making an announcement. But since the voice work isn’t done yet, that announcement may not come for weeks.
