PlayStation Move demos coming to PSN

PlayStation Move releases later this month. Sony has put together bundles to give gamers all they need right out of the box. The bundle includes Move, PlayStation Eye camera, demo disc and Sports Champions. There’s another bundle that includes everything previously mentioned and a PS3 console. Does that mean people who only buy the controller can’t try Move before buying a full game? No, no it doesn’t.

Tucked away in comments section of the PlayStation Blog is confirmation that most demos featured on the disc will become available on PSN after Move launches on September 17, 2010. Sony hasn’t stated which games are on the demo, but we do know there will be 11 demos in all. If I had my wish, I would release the entire demo disc on PSN as one download. PSN is more than capable of handling the file size and it will help to prove Sony’s dedication to both physical and digital media.

According to the UK’s Amazon site, there are only nine demos on the disc. They are as follows:

• Sports Champions
• Start the Party!
• The Shoot
• EyePet: Move Edition
• TV Superstars
• echochrome ii
• Tumble
• Beat Sketchers
• Hustle Kings

Sony Computer Entertainment of America promised to release a video on the PlayStation Blog detailing the demo disc. We will learn information after watching the video.
