(Update) Save $25 on Halo: Reach from Kmart

Kmart is really delivering great gaming deals lately. Yesterday the retailer announced a couple special offers on highly anticipated videogame hardware and software. We reported on the PlayStation Move deals yesterday (September 7, 2010). Today Halo: Reach is taking the spotlight.

Kmart is offering a $25 gaming coupon with the purchase of Halo: Reach. This deal will be in place from September 14-18, 2010. This offer only applies to in-store purchases. Furthermore, you will be able to save $25 on select games if you buy Halo: Reach. Kmart is in the process of listing which games will be eligible for the $25 discount. We will update this post when we get the list.

There have been a lot of Kmart deals that yield a gaming coupon after purchase. It could be a little confusing as to when and how you can use them. Here’s a quick rundown of some important facts.

Take note of when the coupon expires. Occasionally the coupon will be valid a while after it’s issued such as the $15 coupon that was given out with Fallout: New Vegas coasters. Make sure you check the receipt for specifics. If you have two or more coupons that can be used during the same dates, you can stack them against a single product. For example, two $15 gaming coupons can go towards on $60 game. You can stack as many as you want as long as their value doesn’t exceed the pre-tax price of the item you’re buying.
