Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam logo We haven’t heard anything about Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam since it was announced a few months ago at E3. To be honest, there’s been so much news since then, I forgot about it. EA and Dice have jarred my memory today by announcing Bad Company 2 Vietnam will be shown to the public for the first time at the Tokyo Game Show.

Bad Company 2 Vietnam is not a brand new game even though the logo suggests it. It’s actually an expansion to Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The only difference is, well, it takes place in Vietnam. The expansion will have four new maps. There going to be new weapons as well that reflect the Vietnam era. You’ll also get more vehicles, Achievements, Trophies and unannounced unlockable content.

This expansion is only for the multiplayer mode. You better grab a few friends if you want to get the most out of Bad Company 2 Vietnam. The game thrives when teams are working together. You won’t get far trying to be a modern day Terminator.

The Tokyo Game Show kicks off next week on September 16, 2010. Hopefully EA and Dice will announce a release date and a price for this Battlefield expansion during the show.
