The amount of games and media coming out today following the release date announcement of the Nintendo 3DS is staggering. We’ve been working to get as many screenshots up from as many games as possible. You’re not going to see the 3D effect in these screenshots, but the much improved graphics the 3DS offers is obvious.

Currently we have screenshots from Mario Kart 3DS, Nintendogs + Cats and Starfox64 3D in our photo gallery. We’ll be uploading a lot more throughout the course of the day. You can expect to see galleries from games such as Kid Icarus Rising, Paper Mario 3DS, and Steel Diver just to name a few. We’ll also try to get up some videos from some of the biggest upcoming 3DS titles as well.

While we work on bringing you as much 3DS coverage as our fingers can handle, you can pass the time by catching up on our coverage of all things 3DS. Through that link you’ll find all the information we’ve amassed so far about the 3DS such as hardware specs, upcoming games and hands-on (and eyes on) impressions.
