The second season of Glee is well underway! In fact, a rerun from season 1 is even airing tonight, and next week is the anticipated “The Rocky Horror Glee Show” episode. So it shouldn’t be surprising that the Glee Wii video game will be out soon. Next month, to be exact, on November 9, 2010.
Karaoke Revolution Glee will include 35 songs and video clips from the first season of Glee. Plus there’ll probably be stills, since there’s an in-game Scrapbook to fill. The full tracklist hasn’t been revealed yet, which is a little sad, but Konami has announced 10 songs that will absolutely be in the game.
So players will be able to sing along to the Glee cast versions of:
- “And I am Telling You I am not Going”
- “Defying Gravity”
- “Endless Love”
- “Gold Digger”
- “My Life Would Suck Without You”
- “No Air”
- “Proud Mary”
- “Somebody to Love”
- “Taking Chances”
- “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”
If you’re saving up for a copy, remember to put a little extra aside. Karaoke Revolution Glee is going to cost $59.99. That’s only because it comes with a microphone. You’ll also have to probably splurge on a second mic, since the game allows people together, performing competitive or cooperative duets.
So 20 songs are still unknown. I’m hoping for “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Maybe This Time,” and that awesome “Any Way You Want It / Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin'” mashup. What about you? Are there any songs you’re hoping to sing with the cast?
