Check out Amazon’s October 20 video game Gold Box event

Amazon‘s got a nice game sale going on today. You know how the site has a Gold Box, with limited time offers throughout the day? Today (October 20, 2010) it is filled with video game deals. There are going to be eight in all, with two revealed already. In addition, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Super Street Fighter IV have been reduced to $25, and will remain at that price all day, or until supplies run out.

Let’s take a quick look at what’s available and what will be available. Since unrevealed games are only indicated by hints, I’ll offer a suggestion as to what it could be.

• 6am PDT: Cabela’s North American Adventures (PS3, Wii, Xbox 360) for $26.99
• 8am PDT: Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition (Xbox 360) for $39.99
• 10am PDT: “It’s hard to be a Gangster.” – Mafia 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
• 12pm PDT: “Take on the role of the original Big Daddy.” – Bioshock 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
• 3pm PDT: “From the creative minds behind FINAL FANTASY VII and FINAL FANTASY X” – Final Fantasy XIII. Square Enix used that exact tag line to sell the game.
• 5pm PDT: “Top of the line headset for all your gaming needs” – It has to be one of those Turtle Beach Ear Force wireless headsets.
• 6pm PDT: “Trolling for a great deal? Look no further…” – Probably some Wii fishing game. I’ll guess something with Rapala in the title.
• 8pm PDT: “Take to the air like no other game.” – I’ll guess some kind of flight sim, but it could also be NBA Jam or a similar basketball game.
