Back to the Future We’ve been keeping a close eye on Telltale’s episodic Back to the Future game. The ball really started rolling with a survey that asked fans which scenarios they would like to see. Then we learned Christopher Lloyd, Steven Spielberg and Bob Gale would be lending their talents to the game. Michael J. Fox won’t be lending his voice to the game, but his replacement is just as good.

The guy Telltale got to take the place of Michael J. Fox is named AJ LoCascio. He looks nothing like Marty McFly, but his impersonation is spot-on. I bet if you closed your eyes and listened to his impression, you’d swear he was the Marty McFly. This is LoCascio’s first professional gig and he has some big Nike’s to fill. I believe he’ll do the character justice. Telltale has always had good voice acting in its games.

Back to the Future the Game takes place six months after Back to the Future III. The story is based around Marty needing to go back in time to find Doc Brown. The DeLorean makes a return as well. It’ll be interesting to learn how the DeLorean is in working order after it was destroyed in Back to the Future III.

You can see AJ LoCascio spout out some classic Marty lines in the video below. The world premier trailer for Back to the Future the Game will debut on December 2, 2010.

  1. I happen to have known AJ (aka Anthony) LoCascio since he was a baby, and
I watched him grow up. He always showed fantastic talent, both in mimicking
many voices and in making his own films. He's a brilliant young man and we
are all thrilled that he has finally hit the "big time" that he so well deserves.
And in addition, he is the nicest fella you would want to meet!

CONGRATULATIONS, AJ, AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
