According to Forex, the uDraw GameTablet is on its way to being a hit this holiday season. Its $69.99 price point isn’t high enough to scare casual consumers away. This is also the only gaming device that uses a tablet with an included stylus. The tablet could also renew interest in the Wii, which has been seeing declining sales in recent months. As of this writing, uDraw occupies the #9 spot on Amazon’s bestselling videogames list.
THQ will produce 1.3 million uDraw units during the company’s fiscal year. Depending on how well it sells within the next month, THQ may or may not have to increase production.
Additional games for uDraw include Pictionary and Dood’s Big Adventure. They both retail for $29.99. New games will be released every 3-4 months.
