Telltale puts some of its best iOS games on sale

We’ll kick off today’s holiday sales with a handful of discounts from Telltale Games. No, Back to the Future: The Game isn’t on sale. This sale is for iOS devices only. From now until January 3, 2011 four Telltale games (two for iPhone, iPod Touch and two for iPad) are on sale for $0.99.

The iPhone/iPod Touch games are Puzzle Agent and Puzzle Agent HD. Even though it’s less than a dollar, you can try out a trial of Puzzle Agent for free. iPad owners can Sam & Max Episode 1: The Penal Zone and Wallace & Gromit The Last Resort for $0.99.

Telltale’s games tend to be point-and-click adventure games with puzzles to solve. Telltale produces the kind of puzzles that may look complicated on the surface, but involve some straightforward solutions. There are few game developers that make me feel so smart, yet so stupid at the same time.

It’s very easy to get sucked into these games to the point where your device is telling you it has 20% of battery power remaining. Don’t forget these games are giftable. Save yourself some frustration by making some last minute purchases from the comfort of your home.
