Epic Mickey Wii Box ArtIt’s been a while, but Amazon finally has another video game Gold Box deal day. For all day today (January 18, 2011), the Gold Box will have limited time game deals appearing in it. There are 12 scheduled, two of which have been revealed so far. On top of that, Disney Epic Mickey (Wii) is the site’s Deal of the Day. It’s been marked down to $29.99 from $49.99.

As I mentioned a moment ago, two of the deals have been revealed so far. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II was on sale earlier today for multiple systems, with the discounted price ranging from $19.99 to $39.99, depending on which platform you wanted it for. The current sale item is the Ear Force X11 Amplified Stereo Headset for Windows, Macs and the Xbox 360. It’s normally $59.99, but the price is $41.99 until 9am PST.

That means there are 10 more unknown deals left. Here’s the full list of forthcoming sales and some guesses as to what item each clue is hinting at.

  • 9 AM PST: “Red Dead Redemption’s DLC bundled pack.” – Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare expansion
  • 11 AM PST: “TB headset for PS3″ – A TurtleBeach PS3 Headset. probably another Ear Force model.
  • 12 PM PST: “The latest installment of an epic sports franchise.” – Everyone seems to think its Madden 11, so I’ll go with that too.
  • 2 PM PST: “High-fidelity 5.1-/7.1-channel Dolby Digital surround sound for PS3.” – Ear Force DPX21 PS3 Headset – that exact line is used to describe it!
  • 4 PM PST: “Fierce ninja action comes to the PS3 and Xbox 360″ – Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 – it’s easy to guess when Amazon’s clues are essentially taken from game press releases.
  • 5 PM PST: “Game Audio + Xbox Live Chat” – Another Xbox 360 gaming headset
  • 6 PM PST: “A very complete GTA IV” – Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete
  • 7 PM PST: “Transform your stereo headset into surround sound.” – Another gaming headset obviously. It’s too vague to pin down though.
  • 8 PM PST: “Are you afraid of the dark?” – Some kind of horror video game. Perhaps something like Calling for the Wii. Or maybe it’s Are You Afraid of the Dark: The Tale of Orpheo’s Curse!
  • M PST: “Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound for X360.” – That line is used to describe the Ear Force X41 Headset, so I’ll go with that.

The best deal is undoubtedly Epic Mickey. If you were curious about it, but were put off by the dodgy camera, then this is the time to pick it up. At $50 it’s a pretty good game, but at $30 it’s a great game.
