That’s when the Oddboxx heads out into the wild. Oddworld Inhabitants says a number of digital distributors will offer it, including Amazon, Direct2Drive and GamersGate. The version released everywhere on March 7 will still cost $24.99, and have every single update available. This means Munch’s Oddysee and Stranger’s Wrath will have enhancements, like extra achievements and general improvements for Munch’s Oddysee and lots of control options and general updates for Stranger’s Wrath.
To help ease the blow of additional merchants carrying the Oddboxx, there will also be a Steam Oddboxx from March 7-13, 2011. The bundle will be half off, so you should be able to get it for around $12.50. That means you’d get all four games for less than Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath costs alone on Steam! (It’s $14.99.)
If you have a Windows PC and have never experienced an Oddworld game, I’d say wait for next week to jump on that Steam sale. It’s a really cool series! Stranger’s Wrath and Abe’s Exoddus are especially good.
