Sony Computer Entertainment America finally announced the details of its Welcome Back program. Just like the European PlayStation Blog promised, PSN customers in the U.S. and Canada will get two select PS3 games and two PSP games. The games can be kept forever and will only be available for 30 after the PlayStation Store comes back online. Free movie rentals and PlayStation Home content will also free.

Here is the list of PS3 games that can be redeemed. Remember, you can choose two from the list.

  • Dead Nation
  • inFAMOUS
  • LittleBigPlanet
  • Super Stardust HD
  • Wipeout HD + Fury

And this is the list of eligible PSP games.

  • LittleBigPlanet
  • ModNation Racers
  • Pursuit Force
  • Killzone Liberation

Sony hasn’t announced the free movie rentals it will offer. These titles will be available over the course of a single weekend.

We knew that all PSN members will get 30 days of PlayStation Plus and Qriocity services. Existing members of these services will get an additional 60 days of service.

Finally, 100 items will be given away in PlayStation Home.

u guys are tired of knowing that all brazilian users have accounts from the US and most of us spend money on then, so…
why the games of the wellcome back pack will be blocked by region, only people on the uncle san territory will can download… WHY?
a sony ta cansada de saber que nos brasileiros temos contas americanas, e que a maioria de nós gasta grana nelas, então por quê o download do wellcome back pack vai ser somente para a região deles? que bosta!
my credicard number got robbed too, do something sony NOW!
meu cartão também foi roubado, faça algo por nós sony AGORA!

Its nice that Sony *thinks* thier service is back online, but it is riddled with problems. I get kicked out games and experience "network errors" over and over again while playing online. I can play a game for about 20 minutes or less and then I get bumped off and the network has to reset. This happened about 8 times last night over the course of two hours.

    Awesome.
