Amazon’s May 18, 2011 Gold Box is filled with video games (updated)

Dragon Age II for PS3It’s another video game day at Amazon today (May 18, 2011). You’re going to want to head to the site and check out that Gold Box, because nine games will be eventually discounted throughout the day. That, and Crysis 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, Windows) is temporarily $34.99. Unless you directly download it to your computer – then it’s $29.99.

Three deals have been revealed so far. The first was Dead Space 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, Windows), which was between $19.99 and $39.99, depending on which version you bought. Then, Dragon Age 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, Windows, Mac) was knocked down to $39.95. Right now, Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy (PSP) is on sale for $19.99.

Here’s a full list of the other deals that have appeared throughout the day.

  • 10am PDT: Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection (PSP) – $19.99
  • 12pm PDT: NBA 2K11 (PS3, Xbox 360) – $27.99
  • 2pm PDT: Rift (Windows) standard edition for $29.99, collector’s edition for $59.99.
  • 4pm PDT: “Hit the gridiron with this perennial franchise.” – Some Madden game, probably Madden NFL 11
  • 6pm PDT: “Twist and turn through an action-packed Sonic experience.” – Probably Sonic Free Riders (Xbox 360)
  • 8pm PDT: “Experience the pageantry of College Football like never before.” – I have no clue. Any ideas?

Also – Amazon’s 10 days of 70% Game Downloads is still on. Today’s game is City Life 2008 Edition and it is currently $2.99.
