Today is the first day of summer. To celebrate the coming months of guaranteed heat and humidity, Sword & Sworcery EP for iOS and its soundtrack are on sale for today only (June 21, 2011). Sword & Sworcery EP is now $1.99 and Sword & Sworcery EP Micro is only $0.99 in the Apple App Store. It’s up to you to decide how much you want to pay for the soundtrack.
There isn’t a gameplay difference between the micro and non-micro versions of S&S. The micro version is meant to be played on the iPhone and iPod Touch and the non-micro version is universally compatible with all iOS devices.
S&S is a fantastic game. We tried our best to explain the game back in April since it is unlike any iOS game we’ve played before. Even if you’re skeptical, $0.99 is well worth the gamble.
S&S also has fantastic music. Right now, you can pay whatever you want for the digital version. It comes in a variety of formats including MP3, AAC, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis and ALAC. You can pay with any major credit card or through PayPal.
