Spider Man Edge of Time

Time for more Comic-Con news? Time for more Comic-Con news. Activision has become the latest developer and publisher to send out a little note reminding everyone that it’s going to be at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con July 21-24, 2011. Which makes sense, considering it’s trying to hype up Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-Men Destiny, it’s two video games based on Marvel comics.

Activision will of course have a booth (5445) at the San Diego Convention Center. There, attendees can stop by and test out both games. Yes, X-Men Destiny and Spider-Man: Edge of Time will both be playable. It’s good to hear, especially since we haven’t heard tons about either game in a while. I’m sure there will also be some freebies there as well.

There is also going to be a Activision Marvel Video Games panel in room 5AB at 10am on July 23, 2011. Anyone who takes the takes the time to attend can learn more about both the X-Men and Spider-Man games from Stan Lee, Peter David and Dee Brown. Activision also says the Spider-Man: Edge of Time voice actors, Val Kilmer, Katee Sackhoff and Laura Vandervoort, and X-Men Destiny voice actors, Milo Ventimiglia, Scott Porter and Jamie Chung, will all be attending the panel as well.

If you’re interested in actually owning either game, you still have a while to wait. Both have a tentative 2011 release window. Spider Man: Edge of Time will eventually be available for the 3DS, DS, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360, while X-Men Destiny will be a DS, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 game.
