Tekken Bowl

Time to get out your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and grab a new app. Don’t worry, you won’t need any cash in your iTunes wallet. Namco Bandai has decided to get people hyped up about the November 2011, PS3 release of Tekken Tag Tournament HD by releasing the mini-game Tekken Bowl on iTunes for free.

Basically, Tekken Bowl is a standard bowling game. You pick Jin Kazama, Ling Xiaoyu or Panda as your character. Each one has special skills that can make bowling easier. You then pick a mode, standard bowling, Puzzle or Pass and Play. From there, you try and knock down pins and get a great score.

It also has a few features that are exclusive to the iOS release. You can now earn Game Center achievements as you play. You can also compare your scores to your friends on leaderboards as well. If you’ve got friends nearby, you can also play matches together on the same iOS device.

Tekken Bowl first appeared as a mini-game in the 2000 Tekken Tag Tournament PS2 game. The iOS version may not have as many characters to choose from, but you can’t really complain about that when it’s free!
