Disneyland is a magical place, but it’s starting to get pretty expensive. Don’t you wish there were an easier way to explore it? No, I’m not talking about digging up a copy of the NES game Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, though that would be pretty awesome. I’m saying you should wait until the Holiday 2011 season and grab a copy of the new Xbox 360 Kinect game Kinect Disneyland Adventures.
Curious as to how the whole Disneyland experience translates to a Kinect game? I’m sure you are. Here’s an initial trailer that shows some of the things players can do in Disneyland Adventures.
Yes, hugging myself or giving a high five to air so I can pretend I’m sharing a moment with Snow White or Mickey Mouse looks awesome. Aside from those virtual social interactions, it also looks like there will be Disney-themed mini-games, like some kind of Peter Pan flying challenge and Captain Hook sword fight. It also looks like there are mini-games based on rides, like the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at the park.
There’s no word on any prices yet, but most Kinect games start at $49.99 so let’s go with that. If you need another movement-based, mini-game collection in your life or want to give one as a gift this holiday season, you may want to keep an eye on Kinect Disneyland Adventures.
