Nintendo Downloads Weekly Update
This week’s Nintendo Downloads update reminds us that Nintendo still doesn’t really know how to handle an online downloadable game and app store. Know what they should do? Use slow weeks like this, where only one eShop Virtual Console, one WiiWare game and two DSiWare games are available, to study Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Store to see what it should be trying to do. That won’t happen though, so let’s just trudge through this week’s rather unimpressive lineup of games in silence.

I suppose there’s one thing that may be worth turning a system on – the Liight demo. The $5 WiiWare game puzzle game Liight, involving shining the right kinds of targets with the correct color lights, now has a free demo. So you can try it before you buy it. Just do so quick, as the demo will only be available for an unspecified amount of time.

There is no Gamertell Nintendo Download pick for this week.
